Can you put my new fic - "When we Were Younger" - on your list? It isn't part of the "Legend of Scale" universe, but a whole new universe  If you do do it, then thanks! I guess you can wait for me to put it up on ff.net, it is on the forum, though.

I know a fic that's good. In fact, there's already a sequel for it. It's call 'Becoming the Enemy' by Endevorer. It's basically the first act of the moive, but Hiccup didn't shoot down Toothless. Oh, Hiccup also messed with sorcery and is slowly turning into a Night Fury. And Toothless is human because of some reasons that I don't want to spoil yet.(It's pretty early on - by that I mean it's about 30000 words or so into the story. Yep, the story is long. Not as long as 'I Hear Him Scream' though.) Here's the link to the first chapter:Becoming the Enemy The sequel, 'Changing Allegiance', which is also by Endevorer, is following the events of the first one, so make sure you read the first one before reading this. Link:Changing Allegiance (Oh, have I mentioned that there are some book elements being incorporated into it as well?) Edit: Currently, 'I Hear Him Scream' is about 10000 words longer than "Becoming the Enemy', so arguably, they practically have the same length. But since 'I Hear Him Scream' Is still ongoing, and 'Becoming the Enemy' has already ended, 'I Hear Him Scream' will have more words by the end of that story. However, if we look at it as a continued story arc, Endveorer's stories(The two HTTYD fic) has more words combined than 'I Hear Him Scream' and from the looks of it, 'I Hear Him Scream' is about to end. So combining "Becoming the Enemy' and 'Changing Allegiance', they will have more words than 'I Hear Him Scream' by the end of 'Changing Allegiance'. |

I recommend: Making History by Arcawolf, it's premise is what if Toothless didn't lose his tail fin. It has a oneshot sequel Dreki Kyn, that's from Toothless' point of view. Lightning Always Strikes Twice by TheRedDragoon, another story that focuses on what would happen if Toothless hadn't lost his tail fin. Winter in Líf's Holt, sequel to Becoming Lífþrasir. Just saw it's rated M, still a good read. The Dragon's King by ButterflyKika, what if story about Hiccup being abducted along with Valka when he was a baby. Wild Hearts by CuriosityRedux, like the one above, another what if Hiccup was taken along with Valka. A New Legend by Hapciuovici, what if story about Hiccup leaving with Toothless before the fight against the Nightmare. Rise of the Dragon Riders by Neeko96, you know the drill Hiccup leaves before the arena incident, then returns to Berk after some time. Together by The Deadly Nadder, a different outcome to the fallout after the fight against the Nightmare. How to Begin Again by sselhtootandpuccih, modern AU. I know it's rated M, but I don't know where to post it. How to Train Your Dragon the Hard Way by Seeker of Inspiration, my favorite story so far, it's a mix of the books and movies universes. |

Can you put mine up there? Just started it, only a three chapters so far. It's called "The Story of a Night Fury" It's basically Toothless's life before he met Hiccup, and his point of view on what happened to him. The Story of a Night Fury In the chapters it explains my theories on why Toothless hates Hookfang, the whispering death, etc. |
