I enjoy it because I've not played any other Dragon games (been meaning to play the xbox ones) plus I enjoy "sim" (and I use the word loosely) games. When I was younger, I had so many action figures that I would display all around my room, each within their own mini "diorama" cobbled together from various bits and boxes. This is a way for me to continue that without taking up as much space and getting funny looks from friends and family when they visit.

I don't understand why every one likes this game so much...
It's horrendously addictive, haha. And for a phone game, the set-up is pretty lovely. I also enjoy laughing at the antics of the characters.

That's cool. I can understand liking it and stuff but I have never liked the games where you have to wait for a certain amount of time for something and blah balh..

Waiting a certain amount of time for something to finish can get annoying. These games were designed for you to play for only a couple minutes at a time. On other games like this, such as the Simpsons game, I generally open it up in the morning, set the characters to 8/10 hour days, go to work, check on it when I get home, set it for night, and start again the next day. Then, when I have a day off, I spend more time exploring and arranging the town the way I like it.

When I first started playing time games, I was very frustrated with them because I wanted to play. Now I have other responsibilities and priorities, so they work out perfect.

Yeah. It's something I check every couple of hours, send my dragons out gathering stuff, send Toothless out, hatch an egg, etc. And then come back to it later to see what's happened since! (I'm still stuck because Fishlegs won't acknowledge that I have multiple Flightmares, but. At least everything else is working!)

Question, it might be silly but, once you repair Eret's boat do you have to pay runes for it? (kind of like the gang's dragons)

Nope, once you repair it it's just there

I sent an e-mail to the support team about my issue with the Flightmare mission, they asked for a screencap, which I provided, but I haven't heard from them since. I'd like to be able to work on new missions! Right now I just have one of Spitelout's tedious LET'S SPEND EVERYTHING WE HAVE missions.

I've sent them a couple emails about my game crashing when connecting to facebook. It seems to take them 24-48 hours to respond.

Does someone know if it is possible to buy Grump later in the game (buy him without discount ofc)? Or is this a now or never thing?
